Happy New Year

For New Years we decided to get away for the weekend to the family condo in Midway. We had a fantastic time but came home to a pretty nasty surprise. While we were up in Midway we watched the temps drop below 0 but didn't think much of it. Until I walked into the house and down into the basement to the sound of a waterfall. The pipes in Addy's room had burst. Addy was very upset. We walked into her room and she gasped and said " My room is broken" It was very challenging for me to go through such a big loss of memories and keep sakes too. The damage was very bad and we ended up moving upstairs with my very patient and loving inlaws. It took them a month and a half to fix the 30,000$ worth of damage, but in the end we got a nicer basement than we began with so it worked out for everyones behalf.
